Westside Elementary School’s 4th grade Math Lead Teacher is the definition of a “whatever it takes” teacher. Jessica Bartlett consistently drives high growth and proficiency on both state and classroom assessments, but her true impact is in how she reaches every single student. Mrs. Bartlett is considered within the Top Quartile for Growth in the state of Arkansas, with her students weighted three year average growth of 85.93. Simply put, regardless of her students' individual math knowledge or skill set, they are going to grow in math under her guidance.
With strong communication, high expectations, and a focus on relationships, she ensures students feel supported and challenged.
Jessica Bartlett is a champion of small group instruction, meeting students exactly where they are and pushing them to the next level. Her dedication, leadership, and relentless commitment to student success make her an incredible example of what it means to put students first. Mrs. Bartlett’s students love her. Furthermore, she has an amazing hand stand that she whips out at Spirit Days.
We are #GreenbrierProud to present Mrs. Bartlett as the September’s Whatever It Takes Award for the Greenbrier School District!
