Mrs. Burcham’s class tried the micro lab engagement strategy today! What’s micro lab, you ask?

Students are divided into small groups and they take turns speaking for a set time in response to prompts while others listen without interrupting.

This strategy emphasizes active listening, self-reflection, and community building by having students share their ideas and build on others' thoughts to make learning visible!

It also helps ensure that all group members participate and prevents one student from dominating!
