Can you hear me now?! 4th graders constructed string phones to help them understand how sound waves travel. It’s all about the vibrations! They will tested the phones sending a message when the string was tight vs. loose and drew a detailed model explaining how sound energy can be transferred from place to place by sound. Today, they got to choose a part of the experiment to change, reconstruct the phones, test them, and compare the sound quality!
