Car Rider Procedures

After the first semester, we wanted to make sure and remind you of some car rider procedures.

  • Students may not be walked into the building by a parent. They are to go through the car rider line and exit the vehicle from the passenger side.
  • No cell phones may be used in the car rider line or in a school zone. It is the law and Officer Wilcox will be enforcing this.
  • Please make sure your car rider tag is visible and displayed during the pick up process.
  • Students should be exiting the car on their own. Please make sure they have all of their belongings for the day and are ready to quickly exit the vehicle when you pull up. This means that they may have to open their own door to exit the vehicle as well.
  • Students may not be dropped off before 7:25 when a teacher on duty is present.
  • If you drop your child off after 7:50, you must walk them into the building. This is a huge safety concern!
  • Students need to be picked up by 3:40 each day.

Important Information

  • Instruction begins at 7:45 and the tardy bell rings at 7:50. If you arrive past 7:50 please walk your child to the doors so you can sign them into the office.
  • If you have any transportation changes, please make sure that you let Ms. Donna know by 2:30. This helps ensure that she has enough time to alert teachers of the change.
  • Your child may bring a water bottle to school and refill it our touch less water fountains.
  • Make sure that you label all of your child's items with their name.
  • No other students will be able to eat with you at the parent table. This will be heavily enforced this year. Parents are not allowed to go to the playground with their child.
  • If your child goes to daycare, please make sure to let the daycare know when your child won't be going to daycare on specific days for any reason. When you don't let the daycare know, it can really cause confusion for both the daycare and our school. Thank you!

Kindergarten Registration

This Tuesday!

It is TIME!!!!! We are excited to meet our incoming KINDERGARTENERS and their families. We will be holding kindergarten registration on February 24 from 4-6PM at each elementary campus!

To prepare, families can gather a few things that will ensure you complete your registration:
  • a copy of your child’s birth certificate (We can make the copy for you if need)
  • a copy of your child’s social security card
  •  proofs of residency in the SES zone (Drivers license may serve as one form of proof.)
  • your child’s most recent physical and up-to-date shot records

If you are still awaiting shot records, the 5-year checkup, or have any other issues, we can help!
Come by that evening so we can get you registered and in our kindergarten numbers. You must register in THE ZONE you live in!! Follow this link if you need assistance on what school to go to in order to register.
